What ages do you work with?
Anchor CBT Children Services supports children and young people. If you’re unsure whether we’re the right fit, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.
What issues can therapy help with?
Therapy can support with a wide range of difficulties such as anxiety including OCD, health anxiety, emetophobia, school avoidance, panic, and phobias. Low mood, emotional dysregulation and low self-esteem. We are experienced in working with young people with neurodiversity who are also experiencing mental health difficulties.
How much does a session cost?
Sessions cost £85 per 50-minute session.
How long is each appointment?
Each session lasts 50 minutes.
How many sessions will my child need?
This depends on what your child is experiencing and what goals you set together. Some young people benefit from short-term support, while others may need longer-term therapy.
Will I be involved as a parent/carer?
Where appropriate, parents/carers may be involved to support progress between sessions. The level of involvement depends on your child’s age, needs, and preferences.
Is therapy confidential?
Do you offer faith-based therapy?
Yes—if you would like, we can offer therapy through a Christian faith lens. This is always optional and guided by the young person and family.
